I loved how the information was explained, concrete with lived examples. Both of you used eloquent and neutral speech. A few strong personal themes, understandable. Using personal examples with clients helps to provide reassurance and exposure to others with similarities, as clients mostly think they are the only ones. thank you for encouraging this and reassuring participants to give it a go.

I’m a late diagnosed ADHDer and I know my autistic clients would really benefit from having a structure and clearer roadmap/understanding of what we are doing in therapy, but I know I have difficulty articulating this sometimes or organising it in my brain. I think this gives me a structure and resources to communicate better with my clients and work together on a therapy “roadmap”. Thank you. I really love the work you both do in promoting neurodiversity understanding and the advocacy. The authenticity you model is deeply appreciated.

I really like the square model and how you’ve conceived of the interaction between each of the components, how trauma impacts, and how to create change in experience by addressing sensory needs first.
